About DataBlueprintAI
We exist to close the gap between data strategy and implementable architecture — giving engineering teams blueprints they can build with confidence.
Our Mission
DataBlueprintAI was founded in Toronto with a singular focus: making data architecture design accessible, repeatable, and rigorous. We observed that many organisations invest heavily in data platform technology but lack the architectural documentation and design patterns needed to use those tools effectively.
Our platform bridges that gap. We provide structured programs, professional services, and a growing library of validated architecture patterns that Canadian enterprises can adopt and adapt. Every blueprint we produce is grounded in production experience — not theoretical models — and aligned with Canadian data protection standards.
We are not a marketing agency, a software vendor, or a staffing firm. We are architects who document architecture so that other engineers can build it.
Our Timeline
Phase I
Foundation
DataBlueprintAI incorporated in Ontario. Initial team of four data architects begins developing the blueprint methodology and pattern library from engagements with Toronto financial services firms.
Phase II
Platform Launch
First version of the blueprint platform released, enabling collaborative architecture design sessions and automated documentation generation. Programs opened to external enrolment.
Phase III
York Street Campus
Moved to dedicated design lab space at 18 York Street, Suite 1400. Expanded team to eighteen architects and launched governance audit service for regulated industries.
Blueprint B1
2026 Architecture Framework
Released Blueprint B1 — our 2026 architecture framework incorporating AI-assisted pattern matching, expanded ML platform patterns, and enhanced PIPEDA compliance templates.
2026
Continued Growth
Over 140 blueprints delivered to 38 enterprise clients across Canada. Feature store and orchestration programs expanded with new capstone project formats.
Our team brings together senior data architects, platform engineers, and governance specialists who have collectively designed systems for Canada's largest financial institutions, healthcare networks, and technology companies. We believe that great architecture starts with clear documentation — and that every engineering team deserves blueprints they can trust.
Leadership Team

Sophie Tremblay
Head of Governance
Specialises in data privacy and compliance architecture. Ensures all blueprints meet PIPEDA requirements and industry-specific regulations for healthcare and finance clients.
Our Commitment
DataBlueprintAI is committed to advancing the practice of data architecture in Canada. We contribute to open-source pattern libraries, publish architecture decision record templates, and mentor the next generation of platform engineers through our programs and community workshops. When you work with us, you gain a partner invested in the long-term success of your data platform — not just a one-time deliverable. We measure our success by the systems our clients build.
